execon´s workshop „Return on Innovation in Chemicals”
Innovation has been a key engine of growth in the chemical industry for years. Maintaining a healthy return on innovation is a key priority for every company that wants to succeed in this industry. In 2015 execon together with innovation managers from several chemical companies created a exchange network called “Return on innovation in the chemical industry”. The group – that now counts representatives from 20 companies – is open to any practitioner in the area of chemical innovation. It serves as a platform for exchange and meets physically once a year isince then in an event to discuss hot topics together In 2018 the event has been hosted by Henkel in Düsseldorf. We discussed – among others – how computational chemistry has evolved, how agile project management can be successfully applied in chemical innovation, and how digitalization will affect innovation and professions going forward.
